Flooded cars finally being removed
It only took a 1o months, but now the flooded cars are on their way out of New Orleans. No longer will they be stored under the interstate, they'll be stored in variuos other parts of Louisiana for 30 days while their owners are notified and then will be crushed and sold for scrap.
I still can't believe we're actually paying a company $38M to tow these cars away, when there were several companies who were offering to pay us money for the cars, but what are you going to do. It's the government, right? Ful story on the new removal contract here
