EPA Floodwater data via nola.com

The Environmental Protection Agency and state Department of Environmental Quality have posted data from New Orleans flood water samples collected from 12 locations from Sept. 3-5. The data has been reviewed and validated through a quality assurance process to ensure scientific accuracy.Initial biological results indicated the presence of high levels of E. coli in sampled areas. Environmental and health agencies advise people to avoid contact with the flood water.EPA in coordination with federal, state and local agencies will continue to release data as it becomes available.
