Hurricane Katrina Aftermath (and other stuff I find interesting)

Lafayette, LA– June 24, 2005 – High speed Internet is extremely important for communications for officials even in a city under siege. So, In a cooperative effort Friday night two Lafayette companies, one communications and one security, went into downtown New Orleans in a covert operation under the cover of darkness and installed high speed broadband satellite communications providing both voice and data for the Mayor of New Orleans.
